| 1. Dialers !! (hem),
Never download any file like "movie.exe" its
most probably a dialer program, these will charge you
several dollars per minute although some sites claim it
si free, IT IS NOT, its better and cheaper to sign up for
a paysite with your creditcard if you want to access a
paysite. 2. That irritating "Comet Cursor", what Iīve found it makes no harm to the system, but I find it very annoying |
Merging mpg Clips |
| 1. You can merge mpg
clips very simple in the Dos prompt by typing following: copy /b file1.mpg+file2.mpg merged.mpg (where file1/file2 is the files you want merged and "merged" the finished file) NOTE: This only works if you have two clips in mpg format and same screensize, etc. it is only good for serial movies. for more programs about joining and editing movieclips I suggest you this page. |
Codecs and help |
| If you get no sound, or
sound without any picture, then you probably do not have
the appropriate codecs instgalled. We recommend you to use the windows media player, with this codecs pack and also DivX codecs, which can be found to different systems on the link below: for more advanced questions about codecs I suggest you visit the Codecs Warehouse |
Renaming Files |
| This is very easy to
do, while in a DOS PROMPT, simply type: rename file.xxx file.mpg and the .xxx file is now an .mpg file. This can also be made while downloading: Right click on a link, "Save Target As", choose directory to save in add the .mpg extension to the filename (IF there is a preexisting extension, delete it first, but there usually isn't) The First alternative always works, so I really do recommend it, however the other one works very well too for some ppl. |
